Gas
Gas Bijoux traces its creative origin to 1966, when André Gas graduated from the Beaux-Arts and founded the house; three years later, he began selling handmade lucky-charm jewelry on the beaches of Saint-Tropez. From those Riviera beginnings, the brand developed into a Marseille-rooted family business with a visual language shaped by Mediterranean light, vivid color, handmade craft, talismanic jewelry, and the meeting of inherited technique with contemporary design. Its first Saint-Tropez store opened in 1971, followed by a Paris boutique in 1993, and the house was recognized as a French Living Heritage Company in 2011 for its craftsmanship. André Gas’s children, Marie and Olivier, joined the business in 2000 and continue to run it as an independent family concern. Marie’s artistic direction has influenced the jewelry, visual presentation, boutiques, and advertising through an approach combining innovation and tradition. Gas Bijoux entered perfumery in 2006 with Ensoleille-Moi, inspired by monoi oil and sun-warmed skin at Saint-Tropez; the fragrance is identified as the house’s first iconic and signature scent. The collection later added La Route Des Plages in 2024, created by Céline Barel and linked to the brand’s origins at Pampelonne Beach.
