Gas Bijoux

Gas Bijoux emerged in 1969, when André Gas, after graduating from the École des Beaux-Arts in 1966, handcrafted lucky-charm jewelry and sold it on the beaches of Saint-Tropez. In 1971, the brand opened its first Saint-Tropez store, while its family workshop became anchored in Marseille. From those beginnings, it developed into a family Maison-atelier associated with Mediterranean light, color, talismanic forms, and artisanal making. Rock crystal became a key material after Gas brought it back from New York in 1988, and a 1990 trip to Morocco influenced the brand’s multicolored earrings. The Strada bracelet, launched in 1985, is one of its iconic pieces. Marie and Olivier Gas joined the venture in 2000, with Marie overseeing artistic direction and Olivier combining the heritage with international development. In 2011, Gas Bijoux received France’s Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant designation, recognizing excellence in craftsmanship. Its fragrance history began with Ensoleille Moi in 2006, the house’s first iconic fragrance, associated with sun and summer. The signature collection added Summer 69, Sable d’Ambre, and Sea Mimosa in 2020, followed by La Route Des Plages in 2024 as a tribute to Saint-Tropez origins.
