Geo F Trumper

Geo F Trumper began in London in 1875, when George Trumper opened a gentlemen’s barber shop at 9 Curzon Street in Mayfair. The business evolved from barbering into perfumes, colognes, ointments and shaving creams, including tailor-made recipes for loyal customers. The original premises, with their period mahogany panelling and showcases, remain part of the brand’s identity, alongside its St James’s shop on Duke of York Street. A Royal Warrant of Appointment from Queen Victoria was subsequently renewed by succeeding monarchs through the present day. Its fragrance legacy includes Eucris, launched in 1912 and associated with the literary James Bond; it was mentioned in Ian Fleming’s Diamonds Are Forever.
