Georges Stahl

Georges Stahl Parfums was established in Paris in 2005 as a bureau for fragrance creation, development and commercialization. Its model combined fragrance creation in France with international commercialization, including licensing projects involving personalities or established brands. The brand’s first documented signatures were bespoke perfumes for Lebanese singer Elissa, beginning with Elle d’Elissa, officially launched in Dubai in November 2007 and introduced in France at Sephora in August 2008. In spring 2009, L’Eau d’Elissa followed as a lighter interpretation of the original. Randa Hammami is credited as perfumer for both documented Georges Stahl fragrances, and the brand is especially associated with this Elissa pair. The registered company also handled the distribution, import, export and subcontracted manufacture of perfumes and beauty products. It entered judicial liquidation proceedings in 2012 after cessation of payments recorded on 30 April 2011; the liquidation was formally converted in July 2014 and closed for insufficient assets in September 2016.
