Gino Ginelli
Gino Ginelli was used by Unilever as an ice-cream brand, with a U.S. trademark filing dated January 25, 1988, owned by Unilever Supply Chain, Inc. Ola introduced the brand in South Africa from 1992 alongside Magnum, Solero, and Cornetto, and announced two additional flavours in its take-home tub category in 2000. By 1996, Gino Ginelli formed part of the Birds Eye Wall’s and Unilever ice-cream portfolio in the United Kingdom, where it was positioned below Carte d’Or and Ranieri; its possible withdrawal was considered to free shelf space for Carte d’Or. A Gino Ginelli women’s perfume is attributed to Cosko, although its release year is unknown and production is reported as discontinued.
