Glasshouse

Glasshouse Fragrances was founded in 2005 by New Yorker Nicole Eckels after she relocated to Australia. It began with home fragrance and candles before expanding into personal care and personal fragrance, with a creative identity built around fragrance-led craftsmanship, emotionally transportive scent concepts, and expressing scent across multiple formats. Its technical approach, “Triple Scenting,” focuses on optimizing and concentrating fragrance throughout product development. In 2010, Glasshouse introduced its second brand, Circa, under the Sapphire Group, and began selling through David Jones. The brand expanded into the United States in 2020. Its fragrance line grew from 14mL Eau de Parfums in 2020 to full-sized Eau de Parfums in 2021, including A Tahaa Affair Devotion, Midnight in Milan, Forever Florence, and Kyoto in Bloom. A Tahaa Affair Devotion adapted the brand’s candle into a wearable fragrance, following the candle’s reported best-selling status and strong customer following. The current U.S. website identifies Sapphire Group Pty. Limited as the operator of the Glasshouse Fragrances website.
