Gosh

GOSH traces its origins to a business founded by Einar Tjellesen on January 2, 1945, initially as a pharmaceutical enterprise. It later moved into toiletries and beauty products, and the GOSH brand was officially established in 1974 after Einar’s son, Bo Tjellesen, registered the name. The company launched its first perfume, Night in Paris, in 1979, followed by its first makeup products in 1982. Its development also reflects a shift from representing international brands as an agency to concentrating on its own label; exports began in the mid-1980s, and GOSH was internationally established by the early 1990s. As a Danish beauty brand, GOSH brings contemporary fashion and beauty trends together with a Nordic heritage, drawing particularly on the fashion world and its Nordic background.
