Gravity

Gravity was introduced by Coty in fall 1992 as an upscale men’s fragrance, with trademark use recorded from September 9 of that year. The brand’s parent house, Coty, was founded in Paris in 1904 by Joseph Marie François Spoturno, who adopted the name Coty. Classified as an oriental woody fragrance, Gravity received the 1993 FiFi Award for Men’s Broad Appeal. Its fragrance legacy is chiefly associated with the original Coty Gravity scent, whose launch and industry recognition mark its principal documented milestone. In June 2022, AVI Limited purchased trademarks from Coty International B.V., with most of the consideration relating to the Exclamation and Gravity brands.
