Guépard

Guépard is a Swiss jewelry and watch brand whose name was registered for watches and jewelry in Switzerland and 57 other countries by Mrs. Pelletier in 1967. GUEPARD SA was founded in Switzerland in 1979 and was present on the international watch market by 1982. The company later extended its accessory activities—including silk, ties, umbrellas, leather goods, and luggage—into perfumery. Its first fragrance, an eponymous women’s scent, launched in 1997, followed by a men’s edition in 1998. Both occupied mossy chypre territory: the women’s fragrance was described as classical, while the men’s was described as crisp. Fragrance references associate Guépard’s scent work with perfumer Annick Gault, and the line continued with launches around 2000, including Délirium de Nuit and Gentleman Guépard.
