Guess Marciano

GUESS was established in 1981 by the Marciano brothers, who had left the south of France and built the label around a European-influenced approach to denim. Its early identity paired denim with distinctive advertising; a campaign directed by Paul Marciano used supermodels. In 2004, the former GUESS Collection line was rebranded as MARCIANO, while GUESS signed a worldwide fragrance license agreement in 2003 and announced plans to introduce its first fragrance in mid-2005. GUESS by Marciano appeared as a women’s fragrance in February 2008, developed by perfumer Barbara Zoebelein. The fragrance line includes the long-running GUESS and Seductive families, with Seductive identified as a best-selling line. After the fragrance business moved from Parlux to Coty in 2009, Interparfums announced on January 26, 2026, that it had extended the exclusive worldwide GUESS fragrance license through 2048.
