Gustave Eiffel
Gustave Eiffel is a French fragrance label that emerged in 2016 and was presented at Milan’s Esxence exhibition. Its concept was introduced by Philippe Couperie Eiffel, identified as a direct descendant of Gustave Eiffel, and frames perfumery as an olfactory memorial to the engineer. Each scent evokes a city or construction associated with his work, including Rose de Paris, linked to Paris and the Eiffel Tower, and New York Liberty, linked to his structural work on the Statue of Liberty. Fragrance development was entrusted to Robertet, with Sidonie Lancesseur and Dorothée Piot among the credited perfumers; sculptor Cosimo Greco designed bottles that visually reference Eiffel’s iron structures. Public fragrance records document releases from 2016 to 2019, with Bruno Hervé joining Lancesseur and Piot among the credited perfumers.
