Gwen Stefani

Gwen Stefani founded Harajuku Lovers in 2005, a label that began with clothing and merchandise linked to her Harajuku Lovers Tour before expanding into accessories, stationery, and related goods. Its visual and cultural identity drew on Stefani’s interest in Tokyo’s Harajuku district, Japanese street fashion, and youth culture. Her fragrance work began with L, launched by Coty Prestige in 2007 under the L.A.M.B. fashion and accessories brand; Stefani co-designed the bottle and carton to express her personal style. In 2008, Coty prepared the five-part Harajuku Lovers collection Love, Lil’ Angel, Music, Baby, and G, whose doll-shaped bottles represented Stefani and the four Harajuku Girls. The collection won the Fragrance Foundation’s Fragrance of the Year Award in 2009 and was followed by flankers. Stefani launched GXVE Beauty in March 2022 as a makeup brand focused on artistry, individuality, and creative community; by February 2026, it had ceased operations.
