Hackett
Hackett began in 1983, when Jeremy Hackett opened a second-hand clothing shop on King’s Road in Chelsea after working on Savile Row and sourcing English clothing from flea markets. He developed the business into original garments that combined traditional styles with modern cuts, with Ashley Lloyd-Jennings as his founding partner. The brand’s identity is rooted in British menswear and Savile Row-influenced tailoring adapted for modern wear. Its ownership changed in 2005, when Richemont agreed to sell its wholly owned Hackett subsidiary to Spanish investment company Torreal. Hackett is now part of All We Wear Group, alongside Pepe Jeans London and Façonnable; the group adopted the AWWG name in 2020. In 2022, Hackett launched its first international fragrance line with Tailored Perfumes, beginning with Essential and Bespoke, a collection connecting its British menswear heritage with contemporary London life.
