Happ & Stahns

Happ & Stahns was a U.S. perfume range created for Anthropologie and introduced in November 2010 with 1842 Rosa Alba. Inter Parfums developed the program for Anthropologie stores, while the collection’s creative concept drew on the Grand Tour, the 19th-century educational travels of young women across continental Europe. The line presented floral eau de parfums associated with rose gardens and high teas, in inkwell-style bottles topped with pincushions and Victorian-inspired pins. 1842 Rosa Alba was developed by Marypierre Julien of Givaudan and won the 2011 HBA International Packaging Design Award in the Prestige Fragrance category. The collection was later recorded with 1922 Lily Sanguine, introduced in 2011, and 1922 Lily Noir, introduced in 2013. A U.S. trademark record lists Urban Outfitters Wholesale, Inc. as the current owner of HAPP & STAHNS, registered for cosmetics and personal fragrances in 2017. Anthropologie’s current product page lists the eau de parfum as sold out.
