HARA

HARA is the debut fragrance of Herron Scents, an independent fragrance house founded in Los Angeles in 2023 by Aisha Shere. Shere first conceived a fragrance line in 2016 after discovering rich chypre fragrances, with an ambition to create scents that evoke moods, memories, and emotions. The house celebrates sovereign womanhood and creates feminine and unisex fragrances. HARA was developed with perfumer Sanae Barber, founder of Sanae Intoxicants, as a response to Shere’s search for a fresh, sensual, green-field impression she could not find in existing fragrances. Inspired by classic chypres, it is fresh, peppery, balsamic, and full-bodied, with neroli, fern, rose, vetiver, balsam of Peru, and rosewood among its stated key materials. Creating the fragrance around a precise personal vision became a first major step toward consciously building around values and desires.
