Hart + Hedi

Hart + Hedi is an independent Australian fragrance house founded by Juliette Fournier and Richard Adamson. The pair began developing the line together during the COVID-19 lockdowns, drawing on a creative identity shaped by memory, place and sensory storytelling, with Australian native flora alongside selected ingredients from around the world. The house’s name honors Fournier’s grandmother Hedi, who ran a flower shop in Solothurn, Switzerland, during the 1940s, supplied by the family flower farm. Fournier brings experience in teaching, design, fashion and textiles to her work as a perfumer, while Adamson contributes a background in music, distilling, aroma chemistry education, and founding Young Henrys brewery and distillery. Their initial core comprised six signature scents built around real or imagined occasions and places, and the collection was presented publicly at Pitti Fragranze in Florence in 2025. Hedi’s Garden provides the clearest expression of the founding story, paying tribute to Hedi and her garden. The brand also donates a percentage of profits to organisations supporting vulnerable women in Australia.
