Hawas

Hawas is a fragrance line from Rasasi Perfumes, the Dubai house founded in 1979 by Abdul Razzak Kalsekar in Murshid Bazar, Deira. Rasasi grew from a single Deira perfume shop into a family enterprise developed by Kalsekar and his six sons, and it remains family-owned under the founder’s sons following his death in 2015. An earlier Rasasi milestone was Blue Lady, identified as the house’s maiden Western label. More recently, the house has used the name “Rasasi Perfumes 1979” to frame its identity around Middle Eastern perfumery heritage, a modern global vision, and next-generation creative direction. Hawas for Him launched in 2015, followed by the wider Hawas collection’s regional announcement in January 2016. The line is associated with a fresh-aquatic style, with Hawas for Him described as an aromatic aquatic fragrance built around fruit, spice, floral, amber, and musk accords. The name Hawas means “desire” or “passion” in Arabic.
