Heidi Klum

Heidi Klum’s brand originated in Germany and grew from her modeling career into a broader personal brand spanning fashion, television, and consumer products. In 1996, Klum registered her name as a trademark and founded Heidi Klum GmbH, retaining control of the name and creative decisions. The brand expanded through collaborations in jewelry, footwear, clothing, maternitywear, activewear, and skincare. Klum helped develop Project Runway in 2004, serving as host and judge; the program received a Peabody Award in 2007. Germany’s Next Topmodel by Heidi Klum began in 2006 and later evolved from a television casting show into a cross-platform brand. After leaving Project Runway in 2018 to create Making the Cut with Tim Gunn, Klum returned to Project Runway in 2025 as host and executive producer. Fragrance became part of the brand in 2002, when its first perfume launched. In 2011, Coty partnered with Klum on Heidi Klum Shine, a signature fragrance she described as a sensual floral-oriental scent and helped develop closely with its perfumers.
