Hemcael

Hemcael was founded in 2018 by artist Cael Pipin as an Italian brand bringing together art, design, and craftsmanship. That same year, it established a maison-gallery in Milan, pairing a space for its creations with an art gallery. The company began as a Milanese luxury leather-goods business and decided in 2021 to expand into luxury perfumery. After two years of planning, it introduced Armis, its first niche perfume collection, in January 2023. The collection brought together Pipin’s work as an artist and perfumer Chris Maurice’s expertise within an armor-inspired presentation: its fragrances use Latin-derived names and are housed in stainless-steel, armor-like cases bearing three-dimensional brass logos. Hemcael extended this fragrance universe with Armis Mundi in 2024 and Armis Cor in 2025.
