Henry Rose

Henry Rose launched on April 8, 2019, as a fine-fragrance brand founded by Michelle Pfeiffer. Pfeiffer developed it after becoming concerned about ingredients in products used around her children, pursuing a fragrance line with full ingredient disclosure after giving up perfume for about ten years. Created around EWG Verified and Cradle to Cradle Certified standards, Henry Rose was the first fine fragrance to receive both distinctions at launch. IFF partnered with Pfeiffer to develop the initial fragrances, with Yves Cassar and Pascal Gaurin working on the original collection. The brand began with five fragrances and reported 11 fine fragrances, along with home and body categories, by May 2023. That month, Henry Rose announced a Series A investment led by Sandbridge Capital, while Pfeiffer remained identified as founder and creative director. Its current merchandising identifies Dave as a bestseller and classifies it as a Vanilla Gourmand fragrance.
