Heymountain
Founded in 2009 on Germany’s Swabian Alb by Rainer and Diana Krautter, Heymountain is a family cosmetics and perfume brand defined by handmade, small-batch production. The Krautters had previously served as German managing directors at Lush Cosmetics, but Heymountain’s fragrances were presented as distinct from Lush’s and as alternatives to mainstream scent conventions. Its predominantly plant-based, self-preserving products follow the company’s own formulations and are described as natural-oriented rather than certified natural cosmetics. By 2017, the family company reported the involvement of a second generation. Heymountain’s fragrance range includes solid and liquid perfumes, with named extrait de parfum creations such as Give My Love To Rose and 1920s Absolute documented in its 2024 product booklet.
