Hez Parfums

Hez Parfums was founded by artisan perfumer Hez Binkowitz. Rooted in New Orleans, the brand’s fragrances are intended to evoke the city’s creativity, music, history, sensuality, memories, and sense of place. Binkowitz’s path to perfumery followed a difficult period after his family relocated from New Orleans to Houston; he began as a fragrance enthusiast and hobbyist before developing into a serious perfumer. He has also described the fragrances as memorials to his daughter, Henya, and as expressions of experiences and emotions that were difficult to put into words. Bourbon Street, presented as his first fragrance, represents a recognizable New Orleans experience: Bourbon Street in the French Quarter. Banana Bread Banshee, created by Binkowitz in 2023, builds on a banana-bread gourmand concept and is placed in the brand’s Signature Collection.
