Fragrance house
HFC
HFC, short for Haute Fragrance Company Paris, emerged in 2017 as a French niche perfume brand, while its founder has remained publicly anonymous. It presents fragrance and visual art as one creative project, bringing together sketching, illustration, design, and olfactory creation. Its collaborative international model has involved perfumers Vincent Ricord, Benoit Bergia, Raphael Haury, Elise Pierre, and Kévin Mathys alongside artists and designers including Arturo Elena, Megan Hess, Kim Xu, Matteo Cibic, and Katie Rodgers. The debut collection comprised nine women’s and four men’s fragrances, with Ricord, Cibic, and Elena involved. By 2019, HFC had launched four fragrance collections and was presented as an independent French brand expanding its travel-retail presence. Its current public identity connects SIA Haute Fragrance Company, registered in Riga, with product provision and website ownership, while Haute Fragrance Company Ltd at a Paris address is also presented as part of the brand’s identity.
