Hierbas de Ibiza

Hierbas de Ibiza traces its perfumery tradition to 1965, when jewelers Antonio Torres and Pele Torres launched Torres Eau de Toilette and After Shave. The fragrance venture grew out of the family jewelry business: the Torres brothers first created scents to complement their collections, and Antonio Torres Sagrera later developed the perfumery with two siblings. Associated with San Lorenzo in Ibiza and described in 2014 as family-run under Antonio Torres Sagrera’s ownership, the brand’s creative identity centers on translating the island’s landscape and atmosphere into fragrance, expressed in the idea that Ibiza lives on in you. Its defining scent is Agua de Colonia Hierbas de Ibiza, a fresh citrus fragrance balanced by green aromatic accords. In 2007, the brand adapted that core fragrance into Colonia Sólida, a solid cologne housed in a numbered sterling-silver case designed by Antonio Torres Sr., with graphics by Isabel Torres Sagrera.
