Fragrance house
Hiram Green
Hiram Green is a fragrance house established by Canadian self-taught perfumer Hiram Green, who launched Moon Bloom, his first perfume, in 2013. Before creating the namesake house, Green ran Scent Systems, a small London perfume shop opened in 2003; after closing it, he continued developing fragrances independently. He works exclusively with natural ingredients, and his creative process turns ideas from music, painting, and travel into scent stories refined through numerous drafts. In 2019, Hyde won the Artisan category at the Art and Olfaction Awards, where Green was listed as both brand and perfumer. Moon Bloom, the debut, is an all-natural white-floral composition centered on tuberose; Green said in 2015 that retailers reordered it after launch. Shangri La, his second perfume, was discontinued after it did not sell well, then reworked and re-released in 2022 following repeated requests, in a version he described as softer and warmer.
