Hlavin

Hlavin was established in Israel in 1974 as a cosmetics company focused on body-odor neutralization and skincare solutions. Its early product direction was shaped by biochemist Ziska Hlavin, who developed a deodorant designed to neutralize odor at its source rather than merely mask it. The brand’s public identity centers on long-lasting deodorants and skincare, with Lavilin, launched by Ziska Hlavin in 1974, presented as its best-known deodorant line. In 2016, Chic Cosmetic Industries purchased Hlavin’s activities, creating the Chic-Hlavin Cosmetic Group. Hlavin then became part of a broader cosmetics group whose activities include skincare, body care, toiletries, perfumes, and branded and private-label cosmetics. Its distinctive product story is the seven-day deodorant cream, associating Hlavin more closely with odor control than with a particular fine-fragrance composition.
