Hoermanseder

Hoermanseder is a Berlin-based womenswear label founded by Marina Hoermanseder in 2013. It presented its first collection at Berlin Fashion Week in early 2014. The label’s creative identity combines progressive silhouettes and precise craftsmanship with fetish-inspired elements, leather corsets, straps, buckles, and contrasts between avant-garde pieces and ready-to-wear. Orthopedic corsets became a formative design reference after Hoermanseder researched them during her ESMOD studies; in 2018, she began working with an orthopedic master on made-to-measure showpieces. The label remains eponymous, with Marina Hoermanseder as its designer and central creative figure. In September 2021, Hoermanseder launched a younger, more diverse ready-to-wear subbrand through an exclusive ABOUT YOU capsule collection. Its couture label’s Autumn/Winter 2024/25 collection was the first presentation after a four-year absence. The brand’s fragrance activity is presented as a Berlin-inspired line, with Berlin Nights drawing on Hoermanseder’s fashion shows and club nights.
