Hope Fragrances
Hope Fragrances was publicly launched in 2017 by Audrey Gruss, who debuted the Hope fragrance at a Southampton garden party that August. Created in memory of Gruss’s mother, Hope, who lived with depression and loved white flowers, the brand centers its collection on a white-floral style built around gardenia, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley, and tuberose, with a fresh green accent. Its philanthropic purpose directs all net profits to depression research through the Hope for Depression Research Foundation, which Gruss founded in 2006. The original Hope fragrance is the line’s signature scent and a classic white floral; in 2018, Gruss partnered with Firmenich to create the fragrance line around her mother’s favorite florals. The range later included Hope Sport and Hope Night, with Hope Night Parfum introduced at Bergdorf Goodman in 2018.
