Hors La Monde
Founded in New York in 2005 by Symine Salimpour, Hors La Monde began as a jewelry and fragrance brand. Salimpour, who has directed its artistic creation since the founding, shaped an identity joining adornment and scent with travel, memory, cultural exchange, and the idea of an elsewhere beyond borders. In 2007, she commissioned Michel Roudnitska to create Shiloh, the brand’s first perfume. Its early fragrance work continued with Lady Shiloh, released in 2009 and created by Fabrice Olivieri, followed by Shiloh X in 2011. The documented fragrance collection comprises these three perfumes, with Roudnitska and Olivieri credited as collaborating perfumers. In 2016, Salimpour created Master Parfumeur Consulting as a consulting branch of Hors La Monde, extending her work into fragrance concepts, olfactory practice, and beauty-sector consulting.
