Fragrance house
HOT
HOT, pronounced “hot,” is a California-based perfume house created by artist and perfumer Jarekhye Covarrubias. Its creative philosophy emphasizes nontraditional artistic expression, distinctive fragrance experiences, minimal packaging, and celebrating people viewed as unusual or awkward by mainstream society. Documented releases from 2013 to 2016 include the Haught Summer, Icons, Pop, and The Incense Collection lines. Don’t Touch Me Tomato, the second fragrance in the Icons collection, was created as a tribute to Josephine Baker. Covarrubias later created fragrances through Broun Suga Co.; his broader body of work is particularly associated with gourmand fragrance.
