Hunq

HUNQ is an Amsterdam fragrance brand founded and created by Hyun Yeu. Its creative premise imagines the scents of male archetypes, linking fragrance with chemistry, pheromones, and the sensory identity of working people. The brand publicly debuted at Pitti Fragranze in 2021 with five fragrances built around the Gardener, Barman, Carpenter, Lifeguard, and Mechanic archetypes. Although focused on masculine archetypes, HUNQ presented its initial identity as unisex, with scents intended for both men and women. Rather than centering on one documented signature scent, its fragrance identity is organized around a numbered occupational-archetype collection, including #001 Gardener and #005 Mechanic. The official collection now also includes #006 Boxer, retaining the archetype-based naming system.
