ID Parfums
Created in 1996, ID Parfums is a fragrance house whose creative identity is shaped by travel. Its “travelling perfumer” concept draws on countries, unusual destinations and journeys through time, translating those themes into fragrances. The house works with French perfumers, giving them broad creative freedom and emphasizing distinctive compositions built from selected raw materials. ID Parfums also has an earlier lineage: the fragrance division Le Monde en Parfum was created in 1995 and renamed Isabel Derroisne in 2004 after its creator. In 2012, Isabel Derroisne adopted the name ID Parfums and relaunched its identity around a collective of travel-inspired perfume creators. Today, the brand is presented as part of Groupe Rocher’s perfume and beauty structure; a legal record lists Laboratoires de Biologie Végétale Yves Rocher as its sole shareholder from October 2016. Its clearest documented fragrance grouping is Carnets de Voyage, a five-fragrance collection introduced around the brand’s transition to ID Parfums and centered on travel.
