Ideo Parfumeurs

Ideo Parfumeurs was established in Lebanon in 2016 by Ludmila Bitar, with Ludmila and Antoine Bitar forming its founding creative partnership. The brand built its concept around story-driven scents that connect memories with daring touches, combining elegance and accessibility. Its identity draws on Beirut’s role as a cultural meeting point among Middle Eastern, European, African, and Asian influences, as well as the city’s contrasts between tradition and modernity. Before its relaunch, the brand’s perfumes were made in Grasse, and its emotional and cultural fragrance stories extended into scented formats beyond personal fragrance. The Beirut port explosion on 4 August 2020 destroyed its boutique and interrupted its activity, after which the brand was put on hiatus. By June 2024, Ideo Parfumeurs had been bought by Paressence, which is currently associated with the brand. A 2025 relaunch introduced a new visual identity, new perfumers, and renewed emphasis on Lebanese heritage, centered on The Delicacies collection, inspired by Lebanese pastries and created by Camille Chemardin and Margaux Le Paih Guérin.
