Intimissimi

Intimissimi was launched near Verona, Italy, in 1996 by Sandro Veronesi within the Calzedonia Group, whose parent company was founded in Verona in 1986 and is now known as Oniverse. Initially focused on intimates, the brand broadened into lingerie, knitwear, and nightwear while retaining lingerie as its central identity. Its stated style is romantic and sophisticated, expressed through Italian style and an emphasis on comfort, quality, and glamour. An early international milestone came in 2005, when Victoria’s Secret became the exclusive U.S. licensee for Intimissimi garments; by 2006, the brand had entered the European market and achieved leadership in Italian underwear. From 2014 to 2017, Intimissimi on Ice at Verona Arena combined dance and professional ice skating to communicate the brand’s Italian identity internationally. In 2017, its communications adopted narrative-led multimedia campaigns centered on prominent women, followed in 2018 by a worldwide multichannel campaign starring Sarah Jessica Parker. Intimissimi remains part of Oniverse.
