Isabell Kristensen

Isabell Kristensen began her fashion career after winning a design competition in London, an achievement that led to an invitation to Clothes Show Live and, following the response to her designs, the establishment of Maison Kristensen in London. British-rooted and shaped by European influence, the brand developed around bespoke couture for major personal and public occasions, with family celebrations and made-to-measure dressing at the heart of its identity. Dame Shirley Bassey became an important early client, returning to the newly opened London shop to buy 32 dresses. In 2000, Isabell Kristensen Couture established a second flagship boutique and couture atelier in Monaco. Martin Kristensen moved from Monaco to London in 2017 to relaunch and reimagine the brand in the United Kingdom, after which the house developed a dedicated bridal line. In fragrance, Dreams was identified as Isabell Kristensen’s first scent and described as a classic fragrance in Denmark; Endless Dreams followed. The brand’s fragrance identity centers on sweet, floral, and fresh compositions inspired by favorite smells and developed in Grasse.
