Italart

Italart is an Italian fragrance and beauty company based in Parma, with roots in the Tanzi family’s fragrance activity in the 1950s. Attilio Tanzi founded A.R. Tanzi in 1954, and his son Roberto later established Italart to market perfumes for Italian fashion houses; the evidence places Italart’s corporate formation in 1984. It is a family-run business in its third generation, working with licensed brands and private labels across fragrance development, packaging, production, distribution, and brand communication. Its creative history includes the 1985 Battistoni Marte project, which brought together a Renato Guttuso drawing and a bottle designed by Pierre Dinand; the fragrance is identified as an icon from the 1990s onward. In 1990, Italart created a perfume for Maserati and received the Academy of Perfume’s international Best Packaging award. Its portfolio later included La Martina, Roccobarocco, iPure, John Richmond, and Replay. In March 2025, Italart and Elite World Group announced an exclusive partnership to launch an Elite fragrance collection.
