J'ai Osé
J'ai Osé is associated with the Guy Laroche perfume house rather than documented as an independently founded fashion or fragrance house. The Guy Laroche fashion house was established in Paris by Guy Laroche in 1957, while its perfumes have operated under a L'Oréal cosmetics license since 1965. J'ai Osé was introduced under the Guy Laroche label in the late 1970s, with the original composition credited to perfumer Max Gavarry. The fragrance is characterized as a floriental, or oriental-floral, scent with warm woody, resinous, and mossy depth. The original J'ai Osé remains the fragrance most directly associated with the name; later references record J'ai Osé Baby, a 2001 reinterpretation, and J'ai Osé Aqua, an aquatic variation. The original formulation was later discontinued and subsequently revived in reformulated form.
