Jack & Jones
Founded in Denmark in 1990 under BESTSELLER, Jack & Jones began as a menswear label with a jeans collection launched at Oslo Fashion Week. Its focus broadened from denim into urban sportswear, casual clothing, tailoring, accessories, and footwear, while denim remained central to its business identity. The brand presents that identity through a denim-based brotherhood or community. From 2017 onward, it added plus-size and junior lines, and in 2020 launched JJXX as a standalone womenswear brand, extending its denim expertise beyond menswear. It introduced its first sustainable-products collection in 2007 and later developed the Low Impact Denim initiative, first presented in 2012 and relaunched in early 2018. In 2019, Jack & Jones launched the Jack & Jones Fragrances collection. It remains one of the brands of family-owned BESTSELLER, whose second-generation owner Anders Holch Povlsen took over as owner and managing director in 2001.
