Jack Henry

Founded in 2017 by Kyle Bardouche, Jack Henry began as a California-garage project after he became a father in 2015 and sought a cleaner alternative to conventional hair products. Bardouche and his wife developed Hair Clay as the brand’s first product, establishing the starting point for a broader personal-care range. The company expanded into skincare in 2018 and deodorant in 2019, and now covers hair, skin, and body self-care. Its stated approach is ingredient-first and performance-driven, with simplicity, transparency, sustainability, and education as guiding principles; its fragrances are made with essential oils, natural extracts, and plant-derived isolates. Bardouche remains associated with the brand’s product formulation, content, and creative oversight. In 2020, Hair Clay received The Manual’s Hair Product of the Year award, while the company reported sales of more than 20,000 jars. Hair Clay remains the clearest defining product in the available record, identified as Jack Henry’s best seller and the product from which its wider line developed.
