Jane Booke
Jane Booke’s design origins trace to clothes she made for herself, including an outfit noticed by a Beverly Hills boutique owner at a celebrity wedding; the boutique subsequently bought enough pieces to give her a dedicated corner on Robertson Boulevard. Before establishing her design career, Booke studied acting, appeared in film and television, and pursued music before shifting into fashion. The brand’s identity is centered on Booke as an Angeleno designer whose work draws on fantasy, historical romance, and glamour, with Camelot and Star Wars among its creative references. Her designs include bespoke gowns, coats, and jumpsuits intended to bring special-occasion glamour beyond formal settings, and her home also serves as her studio. In July 2023, she was still presenting new seasonal fashion work through the Summer Collection. Fragrance is represented by Taken, her personal signature perfume, originally made for herself and produced after repeated questions about the scent. The fragrance has a fruity opening and a vanilla-centered composition.
