Jasper Conran

Jasper Conran began in womenswear, presenting his first collection in 1978 and following it with menswear in 1985. The brand developed from fashion into performing-arts costume, interiors, tableware, and travel, including work with Wedgwood and ownership of two Moroccan hotels. Conran’s design identity is associated with cut and silhouette and a particularly British sensibility; his stage work included costumes for Anouilh’s The Rehearsal and more than 14 ballets and operas. He received the British Fashion Council Designer of the Year Award in 1986–87 and the Fashion Group of America Award in 1987. In August 2021, the brand adopted the identity Jasper Conran London, described through contemporary styling, bold colour, quality, ease, comfort, flattering fit, freshness, and modernity. NEXT listed Jasper Conran among brands newly covered by licence agreements in its 2023/24 financial year. Its fragrance offer is presented as a signature range for women and men, including Jasper Conran Her, launched in 2003 as the designer’s first and signature women’s fragrance, categorized as chypre-fruity.
