Je Reviens
Je Reviens is a fragrance created within the Worth fashion house, founded in Paris by Charles Frederick Worth in 1858. Worth entered perfumery in the 1920s, and Je Reviens was introduced in 1932 by perfumer Maurice Blanchet. Its blue bottle, created through Worth’s collaboration with René Lalique, evoked the skyscrapers emerging across the Atlantic. When Worth’s couture business ended in 1956, its perfume activities continued separately under Les Parfums Worth. In the late 1990s, Dilesh Mehta acquired the Worth fragrance business; by 2005, he had acquired rights to both the fragrance and clothing businesses and unified them again under Worth. Je Reviens was reissued in 2004 as Je Reviens Couture in the prestige category. It remains the defining fragrance example associated with Worth’s revived couture identity and its reintroduced fine-fragrance portfolio.
