Jeanne Piaubert
Jeanne Piaubert began in Paris in 1928, when its founder opened an institute combining massage with dermo-aesthetic electrical currents. Trained as a chemical engineer and among France’s first female physiotherapists, Jeanne Piaubert had studied medical electrotherapy for skin rejuvenation and body remodelling since 1925. In 1938, she developed a non-surgical breast-correction technique, extending the brand’s focus on body remodelling and slimming. Its approach brought together cosmetics, physics and mechanics through massage and electrical stimulation, a framework identified as Dermoplastie Active. The brand’s history also includes Peau d’Ange, launched in 1981 and described in an institutional history as an early product claiming the dry-oil concept. Groupe Bogart acquired Méthode Jeanne Piaubert from L’Oréal in 1993. Today, the brand is presented as a French-made skincare specialist whose face and body treatments have been formulated and manufactured in France since 1928.
