Jil Croquet Parfum

Jil Croquet Parfum was launched by Jil Croquet in February 2021, after Croquet moved to California in 2018 and studied perfumery through classes and events at the Institute for Art and Olfaction. Born and raised in Versailles near Paris, Croquet is the brand’s French perfumer based in San Diego, California. The brand’s creative identity uses scent to evoke travel across places, cultures, landscapes, traditions, and historical periods, with each fragrance narrative highlighting one or two ingredients associated with a particular region or era. Its perfumes are handcrafted in California, drawing on French perfumery tradition and contemporary innovation while emphasizing natural ingredients and environmentally responsible formulation choices. Formerly known as Scent Strip Perfume, the brand’s legal entity was amended to Jil Croquet Parfum, LLC in January 2024. Great Wall Valley was named a finalist in the Artisan category of the 2022 Art and Olfaction Awards. Fresh Morning is described as the line’s bestseller, while the current Les Accords de la Cour collection takes inspiration from Versailles and was created in collaboration with the Mingei International Art Museum.
