JMP Artisan Perfumes
JMP Artisan Perfumes is a Polish artisanal perfume brand founded in 2019 by Jakub Pietrynka, who leads the private project as its independent perfumer and owner. Its creative identity approaches fragrance as art, combining traditional French perfumery with experimentation; Pietrynka began exploring fragrance creation around 2016–2017 after studying individual ingredients, drawing inspiration from niche and 1970s–1980s retro perfumery, particularly chypre styles. The brand debuted with Endless Forest and Mossy Soil in 2019 as the Duftart collection, then followed in 2020 with Eccentricity and Delusion in the Composite collection. In 2022, it presented the perfume extracts Retrospection and Sandscape and introduced Kraków, an interpretation of the scent of its hometown. Its described olfactory identity includes woody, chypre, gourmand, and floral profiles, with classic structures given experimental interpretations. Mossy Soil was a defining early example that required substantial creative and technical work, while Eccentricity sold out in the United States in about a dozen days after its first shipment to Luckyscent. On 12 November 2025, a redesign accompanying Fir of the Light and Fir of the Dark introduced magnetic boxes, more colorful labels, and a refreshed logo.
