Jul et Mad Paris is an independent Parisian French haute-parfumerie house founded by Julien Blanchard and Madalina Stoica-Blanchard. Madalina decided to establish her own perfume house in 2011, and the brand launched in 2012. The founders’ relationship, including their meeting at a Paris café, shapes the house’s identity: its perfumes draw on their love story and shared cultural experiences. Julien and Madalina direct the creative process, working with professional perfumers and approving each launch. The house’s early collections included Classiques and Les White, followed by Les Essentiels in 2022. NÉA, credited to Jul et Mad Paris and Luca Maffei, won the 2016 Independent category at the Art and Olfaction Awards and is described as one of the house’s best-sellers. Terrasse à St-Germain, also linked to the founders’ café story, was a finalist in the Indie FiFi Awards in 2022.
