Juliet Rose

Juliet Rose is a British perfumer working in southern England. Her fine-art training in London evolved into perfumery in 2009, following an earlier period as a soapmaker. Before shifting to an online-only focus in 2020, she sold perfumes from stalls in Camden Market and Covent Garden, where she spent about a decade. Her work treats scent as an imaginative, atmospheric medium, with composition likened to painting and inspiration drawn from the local environment, nature, and David Lynch’s Twin Peaks. The current perfumery is founder-led: its perfumes are invented and handmade by Rose at home. Gourmand perfumes occupy the center of the fragrance-group structure, with creations framed around childhood memories, puddings, and comforting scents. Fragrances attributed to Rose are documented from 2016 onward, and she is identified as their perfumer.
