Junaid Perfumes
Junaid Perfumes traces its origins to 1910 in Manama, Bahrain, where founder Syed Junaid Alam traded in essential oils and traditional fragrances. The business began as a family-run enterprise, with its fragrance traditions and values passed from generation to generation. In 1994, Jaweed Junaid and his brother Fuad adopted an expansion strategy that took the company from four shops to more than 100 outlets over the following decade. By 2014, fourth-generation family member Fahad Junaid was involved in the business. Its fragrance identity brings Arabian traditions into dialogue with newer approaches through Arabian lines rooted in tradition, Western lines intended for international audiences, and hybrid collections combining both directions. Perfumer Ali Junaid has described the development process as balancing Bahraini and Arabian fragrance traditions with changing social and international preferences.
