Kamira

Kamira is a UAE-based skincare and cosmetics brand associated with Dubai, founded by Maisa Al Khatib. It was created around Korean-skincare innovation, with an emphasis on effective, meaningful self-care and confidence in one’s own skin. The brand’s “Skin to Soul” philosophy connects skincare with inner wellbeing, self-love, empowerment and resilience. Its name draws on the founder’s family initials and the phrase “beauty of the moon,” a motif reflected in its identity. After two years of research and development, Kamira partnered with a South Korean skincare manufacturer to develop its formulas. In February 2023, it publicly launched its Gold and Caviar skincare collection in Dubai, a contemporary line presented through references to Cleopatra’s association with gold and caviar and to the brand’s moon-inspired identity.
