Kanon is a European fragrance brand associated with Norway, with its earliest documented edition dating to 1966. That year, it introduced Kanon for Men, a woody men’s cologne described as Scannon’s first cologne launch. Masson Agencies acquired Kanon Cologne in 1982 and sold it again in 2009. Kanon’s current parent company is listed as Palm Beach Beauté. On April 28, 2026, Fundamental Brands announced a definitive agreement to acquire Great American Beauty and its licensing subsidiary, Palm Beach Beauté, which holds the portfolio’s intellectual property and brand licenses.
